1. Nature of the Teachings
The Academy of Light provides spiritual teachings, meditations, workshops, and educational content for personal development and spiritual exploration.
These teachings are not intended as medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.
If you believe you may have a medical or mental health condition, please consult a qualified professional.
2. Age Requirement
Membership and events within the Academy of Light are intended for adults aged 21 and over.
The Academy is not suitable for individuals experiencing severe mental health conditions such as psychosis or schizophrenia. Professional support should be sought in these circumstances.
3. Membership Access
Membership provides access to selected teachings, recordings and resources while the membership remains active.
Some events, programmes or recordings may require separate purchase and are not included within standard membership access.
Members must maintain their account login details securely and must not share access with others.
4. Event Registration
Members may register for live events through the website.
Even when events are included within membership, users may still need to complete checkout at £0 in order for the event link to appear in their account area.
5. Recordings & Content Access
Live teaching recordings are available within the month of active membership in which they are delivered.
Recordings are not guaranteed to remain permanently available within the membership library and may later be offered separately through the Past Event Recordings Library.
6. Intellectual Property
All teachings, recordings, written material, meditations, and course content within the Academy remain the intellectual property of Siobhán Maguire.
Content may not be copied, redistributed, reproduced, shared, or resold without written permission.
Access to Academy content is granted for personal spiritual development only.
7. Respectful Community Conduct
Members are expected to engage respectfully within all Academy spaces.
Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or misuse of the platform may result in removal of membership without refund.
8. Emotional Responsibility
Some teachings may explore themes such as trauma, karmic patterns, ancestral healing, or past-life material.
Participants take responsibility for their own emotional wellbeing and are encouraged to practice self-care and seek additional professional support where needed.
9. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital teachings, recordings, and downloadable materials, all programme purchases are final and non-refundable.
Membership subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation will stop future billing but payments already made are non-refundable.
Live online event bookings may be transferred to a future event with 48 hours notice, where possible.
10. Payment Disputes
By purchasing programmes, memberships, or events within the Academy of Light, you agree to contact the Academy directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank or payment provider.
11. Limitation of Liability
Participation in the Academy of Light teachings is voluntary.
Results and experiences may vary. Participants take responsibility for how they apply teachings within their own lives.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
The Academy of Light operates in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Personal information is used only for membership administration, communications, and delivery of services.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal.
13. Emergency Support
The Academy of Light does not provide crisis or emergency support services.
If you require urgent assistance, please contact your local emergency services or appropriate support organisations.
